When designing the VINCI TORE wheel series we had only one goal and that was to create the best possible wheel. Maximum aerodynamics

The heart of each VINCI TORE wheel is a redesigned rim, widened to 28mm and a more rounded profile of U + shape. Its design was modeled on the construction of the cockpit of the SR-71B reconnaissance aircraft SR and analyzes of the results of hundreds of studies on aerodynamics. Such a profile allows for a significant reduction in air resistance, even crosswinds.

What’s more, the bead of the rim with increased width, was designed specifically for use respectively with the tubular or tyres with a width of 23-28mm, improving tubular/tyre alignment on the rim and reducing air turbulence between the tubular/tyre and rim while improving the aerodynamics of the whole piece.

By taking care of every detail, we have decided to hide nipples inside the rim. Traditional, external nipples make up for the micro air turbulence thereby creating additional drag. The transfer of nipples inside the rim is another step in the direction of ideal wheels and the use of first-class butted, aerodynamic Sapim CX-Ray spokes was the obvious choice.

Regardless of whether it is a lonely training session, a deadly race or a race against time for the triathlon route, the wind will be your enemy, and the VINCI TORE wheels will be your weapon.

Incredible stiffness

Only exceptionally rigid wheels are able to transfer 100% of your power to the tyre and give you incredible acceleration. Therefore, the stiffness of the whole structure was one of the priorities for the constructors of VINCI TORE wheels.

The combination of different types of carbon fiber, the use of high TG epoxy resins, reinforcement surrounding the nipples in order to maximize the spoke tension and punching their heads at the hub flanges is only part of the technology that we have used to make each turn of the crank even more effective.

Hand assembling spokes with attention to exact maximum tension of each and using the patented three three-stage pawls system overlapping at the same time with 9 of the 48 teeth in the freehub – all in order so that the wheel reaction on each your spurt is immediate.

Applying the technique of punching the head of the spokes and directional spoke holes ensures the correct distribution of stress in the wheel and the corresponding transfer of power during acceleration and stability of the wheels during hard braking. When eventually you will need to slow down, the basalt braking surface will certainly prove helpful.

In order to prevent the loss of precious watts and provide amazing rigidity of the whole wheel, instead of the traditional, thin QR axle, we used a patented rigid one at the same time lowering the weight of the entire piece of integrated clamping system HubClosure which is of course compatible with any standard road frame.

Outstanding traction and reduced rolling resistance

Extended inner rim bead width (25mm for the tubular rims and 18,1mm for the clincher rims) means a tubular or tyre is better placed on the rim, being a bit more flattened. In this way it not only improves its traction, but also decreases rolling resistance of the rubber.
The contact of surface with the ground remains the same, but the shape changes – it is wider but shorter. As confirmed by numerous studies, a more round than oblong shape of the tyre footprint generates less rolling resistance than narrow, but long track tyres or tubulars placed on a narrow rim.

VINCI TORE rims have been optimized for use with tubulars or tyres with a width of 22-28mm. TORE rims brake track width (center) is 26,75mm and max rim width is 28mm, what makes the VINCI TORE rims among the broadest and most aerodynamic on the market, and moreover provide an extremely low rolling resistance. Clincher rims are toubless ready.

In striving for perfection and reducing all possible resistance, we could not fail to mention hub bearings. For this we have developed TLF TM Ceramic Bearings – bearings from start to finish designed for one purpose – to minimize frictional resistance in the bicycle hub. Optional VINCI TORE wheels will save your valuable watts by reducing friction to a minimum. Bicycle wheels have never rolled along so lightly.

Each rubber based on VINCI TORE wheels automatically gets better. Indeed it gets to the rim, which is designed to squeeze out its maximum.

Low weight

Through a combination of different types of carbon fiber, hightest grade TG epoxy resins and proper position of the individual layers of carbon fiber, VINCI TORE rims is characterized not only by unique stiffness, but also its low weight. Supplementing the whole ‘set’ with the top VINCI SF-101F/SF-101R hubs and great, extremely lightweight Sapim CX-Ray spokes which are stronger than most top models and means that with VINCI TORE wheels, every climb and every acceleration is easier .

You will surely appreciate details such as the use of additional carbon fiber only in and around the nipples thereby reducing the weight of the rim of only 3-4 grams, when you’re fighting gravity on the steepest sections of daily training or the most important race of the season.

You will feel the lightness and stiffness of VINCI TORE wheels in every situation. These wheels not only exceptionally climb up every mountain easily, but also perfectly accelerate due to their low weight.

Above-average strength

Strengthening the key elements of the rim, the back ground of the design the ‘double triangle’ or innovative pawls system and advanced quality control systems is all there so that you can enjoy the VINCI TORE wheels for a really long time.

Using the highest grade TG resins combined with basalt brake surfaces provides resistance to the rim at a high temperature occurring during braking, and prevents micro-deformation even when the temperature exceeds 2400C.

For the rims not to have a weak point which are all kinds of connections at different parts of any design, they are made continuously in one piece using technology known as “one piece molding”. Solutions such as SecureLock nipples, directional holes, or SpokePrep® coated keep your TORE wheels in perfect condition much longer.

Three Carbon Fiber Types

It is normal that most manufacturers opt for the use of only one type of carbon fiber in the production of the rim. The solution in fact significantly simplifies the production process. However, the forces acting on various portions of the rim whilst riding significantly differ from each other. Therefore, in some of its parts the most appropriate will be the use ofT1000 TG lead fiber and M400 or T700 in other fibers.

Rims made from different types of carbon fibers may thus be characterised by greater stiffness and strength. Therefore, in order to provide you with the best possible wheel rim, we use three different types of carbon fiber (TG T1000, M400 and T700) in the production of VINCI SL. VINCI TORE rims are a combination of TG T1000 and T700 fibers.

Super wide U+ shape rim profile

The “heart” of each VINCI TORE wheel is its extremely broad, carbon rim. The innovative cross-section, which is based on a modernized, more rounded U + shape profile enlarged to 28 mm has enabled the aerodynamics to be improved and allows the tyre / tubular on the rim to be positioned better, which means improved traction while reducing the rolling resistance.

Development of the shape of the VINCI TORE rim was inspired by the construction of the cockpit of the SR-71B – the fastest reconnaissance aircraft. The oval, extremely wide, cross-section rim which is devoid of any sharp ‘edges’ provides maximum reduction of air resistance. Importantly, the aerodynamics of the rim was developed from the very beginning with a view to using tyres or the tubular with a width of 23-27mm. Its specially widened rim improves the aerodynamics of the whole system, reducing air turbulence generated between a wide tyre and narrower rim.

The unique symmetrical shape of the entire set with each side being streamlined makes the wheel not only create less friction with the lateral gusts of wind, but also remains stable, because it reduces the force with which the wind pushes the rim to the side. This allows the use of somewhat higher cones, even in windy conditions.

HubClosure integrated skewer

The patented hub calliper system “HubClosure”, instead of standard quick relace, is an innovative solution to significantly improve the rigidity and allowing a reduction in the weight of the wheel + skewer set.

To prevent the loss of precious watts and provide amazing rigidity of the whole wheel, instead of the traditional, thin QR axle in hubs, QR VINCI SF-101R uses a patented, extremely rigid calliper system known as “HubClosure”. This solution is still compatible with any standard road frame and involves replacing the standard hub stoppers with patented closure-cap stoppers which also serve as the hub axle. With increased rigidity, it is possible to use a larger clamping force, the weight of the entire set is reduced, and aerodynamics (thanks to removal of the massive lever clamp) – is improved. 14:7 spoke lacing pattern

Application of a 14: 7 spoke lacing pattern (14 spokes on the drive side and 7 spokes on the non-drive side) ensures a better distribution of tension than in the standard symmetric pattern. The forces that act on the rear wheel drive side are incomparably greater than those found on the other side of the wheel.

Therefore, we decided to increase the number of the spokes on the drive side in the VINCI TORE wheels and simultaneously reduce the other.

The effects which have thus been achieved are amazing: reduced tension of the spokes, increased lateral stiffness of the wheel, reduced vibration and improved power transfer and the transfer of torque.

The wheels not only get better speed but also provide better and stable handling.

Three-steps pawls and 48 teeth

Since the number of teeth in the cog depends on how quickly this ‘gearing’ follows and transfers power to the wheel.

We used 48 teeth in our hub to ensure dynamic wheel reaction every time you accelerate. This means that ,gearing’ occurs by as much as 48 times for each full rotation of the cassette. The wheel reaction means your acceleration will therefore be almost immediate.

The increased number of teeth means these must be smaller. Therefore, most manufacturers are concerned about their durability and have deliberately decided to delay the wheel reaction on acceleration and use a modest amount.

There is no room for compromise in the top models of VINCI wheel, therefore we used the patented system of three, three-degree-pawls in the VINCI SF-101R hub, each of which engages simultaneously on three teeth, thereby spreading the load. The total strength of this system is so much greater than traditional freehubs with up to twice the fewer teeth, and the reaction rate remains incomparable. The Increased total area of support of teeth ratchet also means better power transfer from the freehub body to the wheel.

Spoke Head Punch

The head of each individual spoke is carefully “punched” at the hub flanges, according to the wheelbuilding technology developed by Gerd Schraner.

We carry out this activity 100% manually ensuring a proper finish and an excellent head seating of each of the spokes in the hub flange. This ensures that each spoke has excellent support. Only then tension in the wheel is distributed evenly and the whole structure is stiffer. The difference is felt in particular when braking and accelerating.

TLF™ Ceramic Bearings

TLFTM Ceramic Bearings are bearings providing maximum reduction of friction resistance. They have been developed from the very beginning designed for use in bicycle hubs and finely crafted from a combination of the best ceramic and have been specially lubricated. TLFTM full ceramic bearings is the solution which cyclists have been waiting for and for whom each saved watt is important.

TLFTM Bearings balls are made of silicon nitride – the highest quality ceramic with an incredible hardness (45% harder than other ceramics), low weight (40% lighter than other ceramics) and high-precision processing.

TLFTM Ceramic Bearings are a guarantee of maximum reduction of friction.  Minimalizing this resistance is achieved by:

  • limiting the balls contact surface with the bearing race, thanks to the material being 45% harder than other ceramics,
  • up to 10 times smoother than standard bearings, perfectly spherical surface of the balls,
  • the guarantee of continuous maintenance of a perfectly spherical shape ensures excellent rolling thanks to high resistance of the material to micro deformations caused by ‘crushing’ of balls between races,
  • increased module of elasticity, for smooth and even turning,
  • an extremely thin grease with reduced viscosity providing an additional, significant reduction of friction and resistance generated by dense, sticky grease is designed for use in TLFTM ceramic balls bearings,
  • greater durability and excellent resistance to corrosion ensures the maintenance of these properties for a long time.

The combination of these properties in the TLFTM Ceramic Bearings reduces friction to a minimum, saving you precious watts with each rotation of the wheel. The faster you go, the greater the benefits you obtain. The ‘side effect’ of using TLFTM Ceramic Bearings is a significant reduction in weight – 7 g in the case of a set of VINCI hubs. These bearings are standard used in VINCI SL wheels and optional for the VINCI TORE and VINCI RAPID wheels series.

Internal nipples

Traditional nipples placed on the outside of the rim cause micro air turbulence which have a negative impact on the aerodynamics of the wheel.

The solution to this problem is to move the nipples inside the rim. Hiding nipples at the rim reduces the overall attack surface of the wheel and eliminates the turbulence generated around the irregular shapes of external nipples.

Furthermore, when using internal nipples, the holes in the rim are smaller, and the support surface of the nipple is greater. This allows for a much greater tension of the spokes, which tranforms into increased rigidity of the wheel.

Wheels with internal nipples are not only more aerodynamic, but also have better acceleration!

Sapim CX-Ray spokes

Considered as one of the best and strongest spokes in the world, and at the same time extremely light (4,25g at 260mm) Sapim U-shaped CX-Ray spokes with their extremely aerodynamic profile are an excellent choice for wheels of the highest class. Sapim designers combined all three qualities of amazing fatigue testing results, the highest aerodynamics and extremely low weight by creating the Sapim CX-Ray spoke.

The use of these top spokes in the VINCI TORE wheels helped to create a light and rigid set of wheels ensuring the transfer of every watt of your power to the wheel rim with the refined aerodynamic cross-section reducing air resistance to a minimum.

To improve braking efficiency and resistance to high temperatures occurring in the rim during prolonged braking, the brake surface of each rim has been covered with basalt.

Basalt braking surface combined with the highest quality TG resin means that braking at TORE and SL rims is maintained even when the temperature reaches 240 ° C.

Higher braking efficiency gives you the opportunity of deceleration before every turn. You gain fractions of seconds that could decide on the final victory.

VINCI TORE rims are designed to perfectly co-ordinate with the tyres or tubular tyres of a 23-27mm width. For this purpose we also increased the inner diameter of the rim to an appropriate 25mm respectively for the tubular rim and 20,2 mm for the clincher rim.

Thanks to this, the tyre or tubular tyre is better placed on the rim, which results not only in improved traction, but also the reduction of the rolling resistance. Surrounding the spoke holes, each rim is reinforced with an additional carbon fiber bar. Its precise arrangement allows for a much greater tension of the spokes, which results in a high rigidity of the wheel. You will feel the difference after each acceleration!

Furthermore, the use of additional fibers exactly where needed has allowed extra reduction of the rim though minimum weight reduction.

Made from the best available aluminum alloy (7075 T6) aluminum Sapim nipples are not only more than three times lighter solution than standard brass nipples, but also ensure perfect nipple alignment into the correct angle and a maximum reduction of stress arising between the spoke and nipple.

This provides a strong spoke tension without damaging the nipple or bending spokes when connected with the nipple.

The wheel assembling is one of the most important steps during its construction. It is true that even a wheel built on the highest quality components will not be sufficiently rigid if the spokes are not perfectly spliced.

Therefore, knowing that only fitted mechanic is able to sense the subtle differences between individual copies of the rim and spokes, we do not entrust the process of assembling the wheels to any machine and we do it 100% manually with great attention to detail.

In addition, we use internal nipples during the assemblin of TORE VINCI and VINCI SL wheels, allowing the use of greater tension of spokes and spoke heads finishing at the hub flanges, so we are sure that they are perfectly embedded in them. And with each spliced wheel we deliver a graph showing the tension of each of the spokes in this particular item.

Quick response of the wheel to every movement of the crank thanks to 48 teeth in each freehub. It’s the perfect connection of transferring energy through the patented interlocking of three tumblers of 9 tooth at a time. Improved energy transfer through 14:7 spoke pattern and tie and soldering of spokes. The incredible rigidity of lacing is possible by using internal nipples, strengthening of holes with additional layer of carbon and the use of spoke head punching techniques heads when hand assembled the spokes.

When creating the most dynamic wheels, which are also an excellent choice for the mountain stages, weight reduction is one of the priorities.

Therefore, three different types of carbon fibers were used in the production of VINCI SL wheels. In addition, to enable a significant reduction in weight while increasing rigidity, the rim interior was filled with innovative, ultra-lightweight and exceptionally rigid structure of PMI, previously used, among others, on helicopter blades. The result is an extremely low weight.

Combining them with excellent VINCI SF-101 hubs using probably the best available Sapim CX-super spokes on the market has resulted in a set of wheels with a weight 942 g for 30 mm rim and 1069 g for 46mm rim. An innovative clamping system, HubClosure means that the wheel together with the clamp weighs only 33 g more! You gain up to an additional 60 g compared to a standard clamp set.

The lowest rolling resistance

Even extremely light and rigid wheels will not be ideal if the bearings in their hubs will constitute a significant resistance to waste your precious watts. Therefore, the VINCI SL series uses, in our opinion, the best available market solutions – Ceramic TLF™ (The Lowest Friction technology) Bearings.

These have been developed from the very beginning and designed for use in the hub of the bicycle wheel, with a 10 times sleeker ball surface and smoother rolling. This means increased micro-deformation strength, maintaining excellent properties even when working under heavy load. There is also specially designed lubrication oil, which does not generate the resistance of conventional lubricants.

Three Carbon fiber types

It is normal that most manufacturers opt for the use of only one type of carbon fiber in the production of the rim. The solution in fact significantly simplifies the production process. However, the forces acting on various portions of the rim whilst riding significantly differ from each other. Therefore, in some of its parts the most appropriate will be the use ofT1000 TG lead fiber and M400 or T700 in other fibers.

Rims made from different types of carbon fibers may thus be characterised by greater stiffness and strength. Therefore, in order to provide you with the best possible wheel rim, we use three different types of carbon fiber (TG T1000, M400 and T700) in the production of VINCI SL. VINCI TORE rims are a combination of TG T1000 and T700 fibers.

PMI CORE STRUCTURE – an innovative structure of super-light and extremely rigid foam designed to connect to the carbon fiber frames which are used, among others, in aerospace, energy or healthcare. Wherever relatively big items must be extremely lightweight yet extremely rigid, eg. in the production of helicopter rotor blades, where, despite the incredible burden, super-light carbon-fiber blades cannot flex for even a millimeter.

To prevent the loss of precious watts and provide amazing rigidity of the whole wheel, instead of the traditional, thin QR axle in hubs, QR VINCI SF-101R uses a patented, extremely rigid calliper system known as “HubClosure”. This solution is still compatible with any standard road frame and involves replacing the standard hub stoppers with patented closure-cap stoppers which also serve as the hub axle. Application of a 14: 7 spoke lacing pattern (14 spokes on the drive side and 7 spokes on the non-drive side) ensures a better distribution of tension than in the standard symmetric pattern. The forces that act on the rear wheel drive side are incomparably greater than those found on the other side of the wheel.

Therefore, we decided to increase the number of the spokes on the drive side in the VINCI SL wheels and simultaneously reduce the other.

The effects which have thus been achieved are amazing: reduced tension of the spokes, increased lateral stiffness of the wheel, reduced vibration and improved power transfer and the transfer of torque.

The wheels not only get better speed but also provide better and stable handling.

TLF™ Ceramic Bearings

TLFTM Ceramic Bearings are bearings providing maximum reduction of friction resistance. They have been developed from the very beginning designed for use in bicycle hubs and finely crafted from a combination of the best ceramic and have been specially lubricated. TLFTM full ceramic bearings is the solution which cyclists have been waiting for and for whom each saved watt is important.

TLFTM Bearings balls are made of silicon nitride – the highest quality ceramic with an incredible hardness (45% harder than other ceramics), low weight (40% lighter than other ceramics) and high-precision processing.

TLFTM Ceramic Bearings are a guarantee of maximum reduction of friction.  Minimalizing this resistance is achieved by:

  • limiting the balls contact surface with the bearing race, thanks to the material being 45% harder than other ceramics,

The combination of these properties in the TLFTM Ceramic Bearings reduces friction to a minimum, saving you precious watts with each rotation of the wheel. The faster you go, the greater the benefits you obtain. The ‘side effect’ of using TLFTM Ceramic Bearings is a significant reduction in weight – 7 g in the case of a set of VINCI hubs. The head of each individual spoke is carefully “punched” at the hub flanges, according to the wheelbuilding technology developed by Gerd Schraner.

We carry out this activity 100% manually ensuring a proper finish and an excellent head seating of each of the spokes in the hub flange. This ensures that each spoke has excellent support. Only then tension in the wheel is distributed evenly and the whole structure is stiffer. The difference is felt in particular when braking and accelerating.

Since the number of teeth in the cog depends on how quickly this ‘gearing’ follows and transfers power to the wheel.

We used 48 teeth in our hub to ensure dynamic wheel reaction every time you accelerate. This means that ,gearing’ occurs by as much as 48 times for each full rotation of the cassette. The wheel reaction means your acceleration will therefore be almost immediate.

The increased number of teeth means these must be smaller. Therefore, most manufacturers are concerned about their durability and have deliberately decided to delay the wheel reaction on acceleration and use a modest amount.

There is no room for compromise in the top models of VINCI wheel, therefore we used the patented system of three, three-degree-pawls in the VINCI SF-101R hub, each of which engages simultaneously on three teeth, thereby spreading the load. The total strength of this system is so much greater than traditional freehubs with up to twice the fewer teeth, and the reaction rate remains incomparable. The Increased total area of support of teeth ratchet also means better power transfer from the freehub body to the wheel.

Sapim CX-Super spokes

The use of special, improved stainless steel alloy has enabled the Sapim technologists to obtain a spoke, which combines the previously unheard of properties and remains unsurpassed for many manufacturers.

The exceptionally aerodynamic U-shaped profile, 17% reduction in weight relative to previously top CX-Ray spokes, simultaneously with more than 21% increase in strength properties make the wheel spokes presently constructed as not only lightweight, but rigid. Costly materials and technologies used in the production of these spokes make them probably the most expensive steel spokes on the market, but while designing the top VINCI SL model wheels the selection of the best spokes was the obvious solution.

Importantly, despite their low weight, the spokes are strong enough that even DH competitors successfully use them in their downhill bikes.

Traditional nipples placed on the outside of the rim cause micro air turbulence which have a negative impact on the aerodynamics of the wheel.

The solution to this problem is to move the nipples inside the rim. Hiding nipples at the rim reduces the overall attack surface of the wheel and eliminates the turbulence generated around the irregular shapes of external nipples.

Furthermore, when using internal nipples, the holes in the rim are smaller, and the support surface of the nipple is greater. This allows for a much greater tension of the spokes, which tranforms into increased rigidity of the wheel.

Wheels with internal nipples are not only more aerodynamic, but also have better acceleration!

The wheel assembling is one of the most important steps during its construction. It is true that even a wheel built on the highest quality components will not be sufficiently rigid if the spokes are not perfectly spliced.

Therefore, knowing that only fitted mechanic is able to sense the subtle differences between individual copies of the rim and spokes, we do not entrust the process of assembling the wheels to any machine and we do it 100% manually with great attention to detail.

In addition, we use internal nipples during the assemblin of TORE VINCI and VINCI SL wheels, allowing the use of greater tension of spokes and spoke heads finishing at the hub flanges, so we are sure that they are perfectly embedded in them. And with each spliced wheel we deliver a graph showing the tension of each of the spokes in this particular item.

Oval, wide (up to 27.25 mm) cross-section of the VINCI RAPID rim provides excellent aerodynamics and stability of the wheel even during a strong side wind. The rim is in fact free of sharp ‘refractions and reduces the force from which side the wind pushes’ the wheel. This makes it possible to apply higher rims, even in windy conditions. Importantly, by designing the shape of the VINCI RAPID rim we studied the aerodynamics of the complete wheel and tyre of a given width. Thanks to this, the aerodynamics of VINCI RAPID has been adapted to the tyre width and tubular tyres respectively to 21-27mm for VINCI RAPID wheel models with depth of rim of 40mm and 56mm, and 20-26mm for the model with the 88mm rim.

RAPID VINCI rims are designed to perfectly cooperate with the tyres or tubular tyres of 21-26mm width (for models with 40mm and 55mm rim depth) and 20-25mm (for models with 20mm, 24mm and 88mm cone). For this purpose the inner diameter of the rims was increased.

By appropriate adjustment, the tubular tyre or tyre are better placed on the rim, which results not only in improved traction, but also the reduction of the rolling resistance. The contact surface with the ground remains the same, but the shape changes and is wider but shorter. As confirmed by numerous studies, more round than oblong shape of the tyre footprint generates less rolling resistance than a narrow, but long track tyres or tubular placed on a narrow rim.

We use standards in line with SGS, CEN and EN 14781 in the production of our wheels.

The wheel assembling is one of the most important steps during its construction. It is true that even a wheel built on the highest quality components will not be sufficiently rigid if the spokes are not perfectly spliced.

Therefore, knowing that only fitted mechanic is able to sense the subtle differences between individual copies of the rim and spokes, we do not entrust the process of assembling the wheels to any machine and we do it 100% manually with great attention to detail.

In addition, we use internal nipples during the assemblin of TORE VINCI and VINCI SL wheels, allowing the use of greater tension of spokes and spoke heads finishing at the hub flanges, so we are sure that they are perfectly embedded in them. And with each spliced wheel we deliver a graph showing the tension of each of the spokes in this particular item.

For the rims not to have a weak point which are all kinds of connections at different parts of any design, they are made continuously in one piece using technology known as “one piece molding”.

Thanks to this the rims are perfectly symmetrical and roll evenly.

We have used aluminum CN spoke nipples in the production of VINCI RAPID. The nipples are made of aluminum are up to 3 times lighter than brass, and the low weight of rotating components is particularly important when accelerating.

The VINCI clincher rims rant is adapted to the tyre based on the design of the triangle. This solution increases the strength of the rim on the impact generated when riding on the roads of poor quality.

The head of each individual spoke is carefully “punched” at the hub flanges, according to the wheelbuilding technology developed by Gerd Schraner.

We carry out this activity 100% manually ensuring a proper finish and an excellent head seating of each of the spokes in the hub flange. This ensures that each spoke has excellent support. Only then tension in the wheel is distributed evenly and the whole structure is stiffer. The difference is felt in particular when braking and accelerating.
